District Labs Inc. ("District Labs", the "Company", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") explains how we collect, use, and share data in connection with the Emerald web app (emeraldfi.xyz), and all of our other properties, products, and services (the "Services"). By using the Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy as well as our Terms of Service.

High Level Summary

  • District Labs is an incorporated company based in the United States that operates emeraldfi.xyz, among other products and services. District Labs complies with American laws and regulations.
  • Emerald relies on a censorship-resistant set of smart contracts deployed across various Layer 1 and Layer 2 chains. It is not governed by District Labs.
  • District Labs collects personally identifiable information and non-identifiable data, such as name, email address, IP addresses, device type, wallet addresses, public onchain data, etc. This is to help drive production vision and provide our users the best experience possible.
  • Any material changes to privacy will be reflected in an updated privacy policy.

Data We Collect

When you interact with the Services, we collect:

  1. Personal data, such as your first name, email address, and IP address, when you sign up to receive emails or other services that require this information.
  2. Publicly-available blockchain data, such as your wallet address, when you connect your non-custodial blockchain wallet to the Services.

  4. Information from localStorage and other tracking technologies, which we and our third-party service providers may access and collect to provide and personalize the Services and features for you across sessions.
  5. Survey or usability information, if you participate in a survey or usability study with us.
  6. Correspondence, such as communications and information you provide directly to us via email, customer support, social media, or other support channels.

How We Use Data

We use the data we collect to:

  1. Provide, maintain, customize, and improve our Services and features.
  2. Provide personalized email portfolio updates and other services that require the use of your personal data.
  3. Provide customer support and answer inquiries about the Services.

The Services are intended for a general audience and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly receive personal information (as defined by the U.S. Children's Privacy Protection Act, or "COPPA") from children.

Additional Notice to California Residents ("CCPA Notice")

The California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 ("CCPA") requires certain businesses to provide a notice to California residents to explain how we collect, use, and share their personal information, and the rights and choices we offer regarding our handling of their information.

We do not "sell" personal information as defined under the CCPA. California residents can submit a request for information, access, or deletion to privacy@districtlabs.com.
